We welcome new members in all areas.

All our shows are auditioned, usually about four to six months in advance, and rehearsals run for around two months before the show begins. We normally put on four or five shows a year which cover a very wide range from small-cast plays to large-scale musicals. There is usually something for everyone.

There are many other ways to get involved, such as set building and painting, costumes, props, bar and Front of House or the more technical areas such as sound or lighting. Prior experience is not necessary; just a willingness to learn.

You can join the Players by filling in the application form or, alternatively, you can download a printable membership application form. 

Joining entitles you to act or otherwise participate in our productions. Other benefits include a newsletter, advance notice of productions, discounted booking, special members' evenings, social events and workshops. We also expect all members to get involved in the running of the theatre by helping with Bar, Front of House or in some other way. Please contact us if you would like any further information.

The subscription year is from 1st July to 30th June and first year membership is free for all membership categories from when you join to the end of the following June. (If you join after 1st April then your free membership will run to the following 30th June.)

Membership fees are as follows:

• Adult - £30
• Young Person - £15 - Under 25 at 1st July and free for under 18s
• Non-acting - £20 (Non-acting members have all the rights of other members, but cannot appear on stage in any production.)

(Free first year membership is available once only to any individual and is not available to returning lapsed members)
