Under way again…

Work on the foundations has at last restarted following the cutting and capping of the main electricity supply cable to the Playhouse on 16th July.  It is a mystery to all of us that it has taken the electricity company such a long time to get around to it.  They were instructed to do it in March!

We are now about 14 weeks behind schedule which means that the theatre will not re-open to the public before Christmas.  The Cotswold Players’ autumn productions of “A Few Good Men” and “Top Girls” have now been rescheduled to April and March 2008 respectively and the external booking by the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in October has been cancelled.
