Well the internal building and decorating is now finished and it all looks great.
Here are two views of the lounge which show what a light and airy space it now is…

As you can see, we are now using a special sort of carpet tile so that any spills or damage can be easily replaced.

Next, a view of the bar with its new wooden floor and colour scheme….

Apart from these, next time you visit us you will enjoy much improved toilet facilities!
The floor is finished in the dance studio and the stairs and upstairs passageways are carpeted.
Unfortunately, we still cannot use upstairs for the public as the builders have still not completed the fire exit steps - neither have they made any attempt to fix the roof leaks. In fact, despite continual prodding, they seem to have lost interest in finishing things off altogether…

Oliver! went without a hitch and the interior work continues rapidly under the excellent direction of Dave Apew.
However the outside of the building is still not totally complete around the back and in the basement although the builders were expected to finish on site last week. We are also in discussion with them about them about the quality of the roof (it leaks!) and the very poor standard of the external render.
Todays first picture is of the detailed woodwork in progress on the stairs.

Next is the newly plastered studio with all the wiring for the downlighters showing…

Finally, the upstairs office - also newly plastered. (The plastering is now finished.)

The scaffolding is down and the lounge has heat and light.
This is the first picture without scaffolding in the way…

and - as a reminder - here’s what it used to look like!
